Michael Sargent is a social and political psychologist, and a member of the faculty at Bates College, in Maine. He studies issues at the intersection of psychology and politics, focusing on predictors of people's policy attitudes (especially aspects of their collective identity, such as race), and also ways in which politics is relevant to well-being.
